If you have forgotten your EquiTrace password or have deleted the app you will need to do the following.
Step 1 - Download the EquiTrace Pro App
You can download the App from the App Store for iOS iPhones or from Google Play store for Android Phones.
Step 2 - Open your EquiTrace Pro App
Click on your newly downloaded EquiTrace App and on the first screen you see 3 options:
You will see a button that gives you the option to purchase a scanner if you would like to use EquiTrace with a scanner or if you have BioThermo® Microchips that you want to monitor temperature with. EquiTrace also works without a scanner.
You have the option to watch a video of the App in Action.
Or you can simply press ok and move to the next step tome to the next steps.
Notifications:
Next screen to appear will be the notification screen. On this screen you can choose Yes or No.
If you choose not to receive notifications, you will be able to use the App, but you will not get alerts when treatments are due or have been missed, you will not get vaccination reminders and you will not be notified when a horse is scanned on a different farm.
If you choose Yes, please also press Allow on the pop-up that appears and this will enable notifications.
GPS Location:
On the next screen you will see information regarding GPS location of each horse when it is scanned. In order to be able to generate complete movement records of horses in the system, please choose Yes to allow location.
When a pop-up appears, please choose Allow whilst using App.
Step 3 - Enter Account Name
On the next screen you can enter the farm or business name of the EquiTrace account you are signing back into making sure that the spelling, capitalisation and spacing is accurate.
Step 4 - Existing User
You will then land on the NEW USERS page. However, you are not a new user.
Select ‘Press here if you are an existing user’ at the top of the screen.
This will bring you to the existing user's page.
Type in your exact username and then select the Forgot Password? box on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
You will then be sent a code to your cell/mobile number.
A popup will appear on your phone screen asking you to reset your password. Please enter the code that has been sent to you via SMS and press OK.
Step 5 - Reset Password
Once you press ok you will be brought back to your password entry, where you will be able to reset your password.
You may use a strong password or if you wish to use your own password select other options on the keyboard and then select ‘Choose My Own Password’ and press save and continue.
You will then get a second pop up saying EquiTrace would like to use Bluetooth for new connections. Select settings and this will bring you to your app setting.
Select Allow New Connections and return to the EquiTrace app.
You will then have reset your password and will have access to your EquiTrace account.
