In EquiTrace you can choose what competition authority you would like to be the default for your account.
What are Competition Rules
When you set a default competition authority for your account and you give your horse a medication, a withdrawal and/or detection time will be suggested based on the competition authority rules you have set.
Setting the Competition Rules for your account
You can choose from a number of different competition authorities by selecting the Other Features button on the EquiTrace App Home Screen.
Then you can select the Competition Authority button. This will display a list of Competition Authorities for you to choose from.
For example, you can choose US Standardbred Racing and then select either General ARCI Guidelines or select a specific state guidelines.
Once you select a Competition Authority, this will be set as the default authority for your account. Any new horses that are added to your account will show suggested withdrawal and/or detection times based on this authority, unless changed on the individual horse profile.
Setting the Competition Rules for an Individual Horse
You can change the competition authority for an individual horse on their individual horse profile.
You can use the Find Horse function to search for your horse and once on this horses profile you can select the Change Competition Rules button.
Once you have changed Competition Rules, this will be set as the Competition Rules for this individual horse.
