How do I change competition rules for an individual horse?

If you would like to set or change the competition rules for an individual horse you must search for the horse you wish to set competition rules for.

On the home screen of your EquiTrace select the top button which says ‘Find Horse’. Select this button.

You will then have a full list of your horses on this screen. You may filter this screen by Name, Barn, Dam, and Recent. You can also search by horse name.

Once you’ve chosen your horse you will select their name and arrive on their profile.

Scroll down and select ‘Change Competition Rules’. Here you will have an option to select your desired competition authorities.

If your horse is not involved in competition you will select the top button ‘Horse not involved in Competiton’.

If your horse is involved in competition choose 1 authority your animal is competing under.

You may choose from the following: HISA Regulations, Quarter Horse Racing, US Standardbred Racing, AQHA Guidelines, WV, LA Thoroughbred Racing, USEF Guidelines, FEI, European Racing, Racing Australia, NO-SE-DK.

Once you do so, all your medication withdrawal times will be calculated as per that competition authority, considering the route, dosage and frequency.

Once you select the authority you prefer, select done on the top right and it will save.
