How do I find a horse to add a Custom Drug?

On the home screen of your EquiTrace App, select the top button which says ‘Find Horse’.

You will then have a full list of your horses on this screen. You may filter this screen by Name, Barn, Dam, Recent. You can also search by horse name.

Once you have selected your chosen horse you will be brought to the horse's profile.

Select ‘Treatments for this Horse’.

Once you have been brought to the treatment page, you must select ‘Add New Drug’.

How do I add the Custom Drug?

You will then be brought to the ‘Add Drug’ page where you can type into the ‘Enter Drug or Supplement’ box.

You must type in ‘Custom Drug’ in full for it to appear on the list and once it appears on your list, you can select this 'Custom Drug' to create your own custom drug/supplement.

You may then edit and enter the drug name as per your own preference in the box where it says Custom Drug.

Once you have named the drug your preferred you must select done.

You will then be brought to a popup where you can edit the following: Units (ml, tablets, vials or Custom) Amount (ml), Route (oral, IV, IM or Custom), Frequency, Repeat/Delay (Off, On/Edit) and Treatment times in relation to your new custom drug.

Once you have done so you will be brought to a page where you must finalize details of the medication such as Reason for Administration and Prescribing Veterinarian.

If you wish to give Custom Drug now select ‘Give Now’ or if you prefer to schedule it, you can select ‘Start At: X pm”.

Once you selected either of the above administering buttons, a popup will appear to confirm you are happy for the medication to be ‘Given Now’ or if you’ve selected a later time it will ask if you are happy the medication is to be given a “X pm’. For either option you must select either Yes or No.

When you select Yes, the medication will be marked as Given or Scheduled for X pm.
