How to add a second farm to your account
You can have more than one EquiTrace farm or account. If you have multiple farms, you can add them to your app and switch between them.
How do I Add Another Farm to my EquiTrace App
To add an additional farm to the app, you must first go to the EquiTrace App's Home Screen.
Then select the Other Features button.
Then Select Add Another Farm.
There is a text box labeled Enter Farm Name.
In this box, you can enter the name of the EquiTrace farm you wish to add.
It is important that the name is complete and spelled correctly. Please also ensure that the spacing is correct.
You can then press the Validate button.
How do I gain access to my Additional Farm?
If you are the farm owner of the additional EquiTrace farm you are adding, provided you are using the same credentials, you will have automatic access to the additional farm.
If you are a new user to the additional EquiTrace farm, the farm/ account owner will receive an authorization request to allow you access.
Once this authorization has been granted, you will then have access to the additional farm.
Different User Access Levels
What are User Access Levels
A user can have different levels of access to an EquiTrace account.
The owner of an EquiTrace account can control the access level of all users on that account.
Different levels of User Access
There are several different access levels that a user may have, and these are:
Full Access: Full access to all functions of the App, including all historical data, the ability to set up treatments, and the ability to export data via email.
Level 1: Only the last 24 hours of notes, scans, and temperatures are displayed. The baseline temperature for that horse is shown. For example, I can see the treatment diary but not set up treatments, and there is no data export.
Level 2: The horse's identity, temperature, and notes are displayed when the scans are taken but not afterward. The treatment to be given to a scanned horse is displayed, but there is no access to the treatment diary or previous treatments. There is no data export.
Limited Horse: This user has full access to a limited number of horses. The horses that can be seen by this user are selected immediately after this button is pressed. Select again to change horses.
View Only: You can view all data but cannot add information to any record. However, you can export data.
Reject User: This user will not have access to any data from this establishment. If they previously had access, all data will be removed from their device.
How to set a user level of Access
Once a user has requested access, the account owner will receive an authorise user notification.
When the account owner opens the EquiTrace app, the authorise user pop-up will appear and continue to appear until the farm owner grants a certain level of access to this user or rejects it.
How to change a user level of Access
The account owner can manage their user's access at any time by following these steps:
On the EquiTrace App Home Screen, select the Other Features button, then select the Manage Users button.
On this screen, the farm owner will see a list of their access levels. They can adjust their access levels at any time by selecting the level of access they wish each current user user to have.
How to Change Farms in EquiTrace?
Can I change my EquiTrace Farms in the App?
If a user has access to more than one EquiTrace farm, the user can switch between these farms from within the EquiTrace app.
Given that you have added the additional farm using the same credentials, you won't need to log in and out of each EquiTrace farm account.
Steps to switch between EquiTrace Farms
To switch between farm accounts, you must have been granted access to the farm you would like to change to, and once this access has been granted, you can follow these steps:
On the EquiTrace app Home Screen, select the Change Farm button and then select the farm you would like to switch to.
Once data syncs, you will switch farms successfully.
